Mohawk Golf Club is a Private, 27 hole golf facility located in Schenectady, New York. The facility has an 18-hole Championship Course, also known as The East Course and a 9-hole par-3 Short Course, also known as The West Course.
The Club dates to 1898. The Championship Course at Mohawk opened for play in 1907. The course was designed by Devereux Emmet .
The Championship Course at Mohawk is a Parkland course with uniquely designed raised greens complexes, protected by strategically placed sand traps, and lush rolling fairways, framed by the mature foliage of 60-year-old oaks and pines The small greens are sloped, firm, and fast. There is only one water hazard and it comes into play off the ladies' tee.
